I love this beach and it's a short walk from UCSD! The hike is actually really fun, but make sure you're in the mood to walk. There's many points where you can just stop and take in the surrounding beauty. There are also a lot of places you can stop and take breathtaking pictures. The ocean is really beautiful and jumping the waves is so much fun!

This is a beautiful stretch of beach that is adjacent to the world famous Torrey Pines Golf Club. It has a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean with cliffs that look down onto the beach below. Take care when taking pictures because the beach is clothing-optional. There are multiple pathways down to the beach, ranging in skill level from moderate to difficult. It is advised that you not try to go up and down the hill by yourself, and certainly never try it at night.

I spent a few hours here on a sunny afternoon. It was delightful. The path down from parking was a bit treacherous, but the water felt great and the beach itself was clean and beautiful.

Awesome view of the beach as you descend down the cliff. The gliders add to the nuance. The nudity didn’t bother me—when in Rome, so I joined in. Bring water, large beach towel, a snack, and sunscreen. Wear walking shoes and comfortable clothing. The climb up and down the cliff is vigorous. I had to stop and rest several times when I climbed up the cliff to go home. It is well worth the effort. There are more men than women, but I did observe some lovely naked gals. Be cool and don’t hawk or take pictures. Act like you’ve seen the naked body before.

I loved the scenery but coming from out of state did not realize it was a nude beach...it was a little uncomfortable for my kids but we stayed and enjoyed the water sand n sun. Would go again but maybe some signs would be good for those not expecting to see all of what nature n our mommas gave us. Lol.
